APLLIED TECHNOLOGIES
The welding process plays a major part of the technological
process in our plant.
SC UMUC SA owns welding
procedures acknowledged for the following welding methods: manual
electric welding, automatic and partly-automatic welding in
protective shield (CO2 and argon) and automatic welding under
flow bed.
SC UMUC SA has a certified staff,
authorized to carry on weldings according to ISCIR, ASME Code
and TUV.
The welded joints are checked through nondestructive tests.
The nondistructive tests used by our company are:
radiographics (X-rays, gamma)
magnetic powder
dye penetrant
ultrasonic tests
SC UMUC SA has CND staff qualified in the levels 1,
2, 3 depending on education, professional training and physical
abilities.
